I am Ashley Bransgrove, a PCTS Fellow and Lyman Spitzer Jr. Fellow at Princeton University. I am a theoretical physicist studying neutron stars, with a particular interest in how extreme physics in neutron star interiors influences their magnetospheric dynamics and emission. My research combines dense matter physics, plasma physics, and computational modelling to connect fundamental physics with astrophysical observations. More broadly, I use neutron stars as laboratories for exploring matter, magnetic fields, and radiation under the most extreme conditions in the Universe.
